» Abaca String Band
With appearances at the Lincoln Center, the Chautauqua Institution, The Carnegie Hall Neighborhood Concert Series, Musikfest, and The White House, The Abaca String Band has created its own unique niche and established itself as a top-ranked ensemble in the field of chamber music. Founded in 1991 by guitarist Andrew Schulman, Abaca features a rare combination of instruments consisting of the 8-string guitar, mandolin, violin, viola and double bass which is perfectly suited to their original arrangements of the classics ranging from Bach and Mozart to Gershwin and the Pinball Wizard from the rock opera, Tommy. Abaca has been called outrageous, irreverent and wonderfully refreshing. With its wonderful juxtaposition of instruments and styles, this superb musical ensemble will leave every audience musically energized and thoroughly entertained.

Using rhythms and musical styles from many countries and traditions including Jazz, Latin, African, Far Eastern and other world musical influences, this innovative and eclectic classical/jazz quartet transforms famous classical melodies into exciting new compositions that sound fresh and contemporary. With their futuristic instruments including the Zendrum, Drumitar, the Keytar, six string fretless Space Bass and the Violectra (electric violin), Bach To The Future has shared the stage with top artists such as David Sanborn, The Yellowjackets, Peter Cincotti, The Rippingtons, Acoustic Alchemy, Al DiMeola, and Stanley Jordan among many others. They have thrilled audiences coast to coast, sold over 100,000 copies of their new CD and are the house band on the CW TV Network's, "The Fan Show."

Chicago Brass Quintet
As Chicago’s original brass quintet, these five virtuosi possess the technical and musical mastery needed to perform music of all periods and styles with equal aplomb. The Chicago Brass Quintet brings style, grace, dazzling technique and humor to every performance. "Virtuoso Brass" - the music of Vivaldi, Bach, DeFalla, Ewazen and Copland. "Brass & Gospel" - joined by the Brown Singers Gospel Quintet for an evening of traditional American and gospel music with brass. "Brass & Organ" - the quintet joins forces with organist Paul Vander Weele in works by Stanley, Purcell, Strauss, Widor, Vienre and McCabe. "A Night in London" - featuring music of The Beatles, Manhattan Transfer, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Handel, William Boyce, Gustav Holst and more.
