» Abaca String Band
With appearances at the Lincoln Center, the Chautauqua Institution, The Carnegie Hall Neighborhood Concert Series, Musikfest, and The White House, The Abaca String Band has created its own unique niche and established itself as a top-ranked ensemble in the field of chamber music. Founded in 1991 by guitarist Andrew Schulman, Abaca features a rare combination of instruments consisting of the 8-string guitar, mandolin, violin, viola and double bass which is perfectly suited to their original arrangements of the classics ranging from Bach and Mozart to Gershwin and the Pinball Wizard from the rock opera, Tommy. Abaca has been called outrageous, irreverent and wonderfully refreshing. With its wonderful juxtaposition of instruments and styles, this superb musical ensemble will leave every audience musically energized and thoroughly entertained.

Only "twenty-something!" (born 1984)… Dave with his All-Star Septet play Goodman's big hits and "swing-era" classics: Moonglow, I've Got Rhythm, Body and Soul, Slipped Disc, Sing, Sing, Sing and many others. Dave Bennett is a jaw dropping clarinet prodigy who brings to life the music of "The King of Swing" with incredible technique, expression and sensitivity. Vocals made famous by such Goodman singers as Peggy Lee and Helen Forrest are brought to life by jazz singer, Anne Seabury.

Chicago Brass Quintet
As Chicago’s original brass quintet, these five virtuosi possess the technical and musical mastery needed to perform music of all periods and styles with equal aplomb. The Chicago Brass Quintet brings style, grace, dazzling technique and humor to every performance. "Virtuoso Brass" - the music of Vivaldi, Bach, DeFalla, Ewazen and Copland. "Brass & Gospel" - joined by the Brown Singers Gospel Quintet for an evening of traditional American and gospel music with brass. "Brass & Organ" - the quintet joins forces with organist Paul Vander Weele in works by Stanley, Purcell, Strauss, Widor, Vienre and McCabe. "A Night in London" - featuring music of The Beatles, Manhattan Transfer, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Handel, William Boyce, Gustav Holst and more.

The Jim Cullum Jazz Band are professional musicians known worldwide for their spirited commitment to the performance and celebration of classic jazz, bringing a lively sense of enthusiasm to this music they love, keeping it alive and growing as an art form and cultural tradition. They have over 45 recordings and can be heard weekly in over 200 cities across the country on the public radio series, Riverwalk Jazz, now in its 18th season.

» Rusty Evans & Ring of Fire's, "Johnny Cash Tribute"
Rockabilly Hall of Famer, Rusty Evans and his band Ring of Fire have been burning up the California festival circuit with his rollicking tribute to country music icon Johnny Cash. With a voice of rolling thunder and a spirit like gentle rain RUSTY has been wowing audiences from Nashville to San Francisco with his stunning tribute to the "MAN IN BLACK." His weighted drawl doles out molasses-coated syllables, putting an upbeat spin on less than optimistic situations. Lending his own touch to world famous songs such as "I Walk the Line" and "Folsom Prison Blues" Rusty honors Johnny Cash with soulful honesty and exuberance.

Banu Gibson, with the New Orleans Hot Jazz, is a dynamic performer with a big voice, and stage presence to spare-she's the consummate entertainer specializing in early classic jazz, and her band is absolutely superb. An evening with Banu and her band features songs by Louis Armstrong, Billie Holiday, Fats Waller, and George Gershwin. » "Mooseltoe: A New Moosical"
Featuring sixteen unforgettable larger-than-life costumed characters including three snobby penguins, an Edward G. Robinsonesque snowman and a fat walrus named Willy plus Santa and his two elves, Mooseltoe: A New Moosical, tells the story of our young hero, Mooseltoe, when he leaves his mother, father and sister to follow his dream of learning to fly so that he can help pull Santa's sleigh on Christmas Eve. His mother has told him that he must find the Moose King who will share with him the secret of flight. His journey is filled with many adventures as he meets a number of very interesting characters. In spite of everything he perseveres and finally finds the Moose King who reveals the secret he has been seeking. In the end Mooseltoe saves the day as he takes the place of a reindeer who has fallen ill. Celebrities from Broadway, TV and the movies provide the voices of Mooseltoe and his friends for this charming story that underscores the power of believing in oneís self and following oneís dream against all odds.
