When Time Magazine noted that at a performance of THE NEWS IN REVUE "Todayís headlines become tonightís routines", they hit the nail right on its slightly tilted head. This 5-time Emmy Award winning satire troupe first saw the spotlight of day in 1991 when it began as a workshop project in Norwalk, CT. The response there was so enthusiastic that Nancy Holson, its creator/writer, and Jay Falzone, her co-director/choreographer, decided to take the show to New York. It subsequently ran Off-Broadway for 120 performances during the 1992 election season and received glowing reviews from the New York press. From Hillary Clinton and Rosie OíDonnell to Obama and Osama, from the unemployment office with Tony Blair - to a job fair for illegal immigrants,THE NEWS IN REVUE is always on the job making mincemeat and mayhem out of the people and places torn from Page One of today's news.
